Information Visitors Provide
Search Terms
When a visitor enters a name, location, or similar lookup detail into a search tool, that query is sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. Hempstead County Inmate Population does not keep its own database of those search terms.
Messages Sent to Us
If a visitor sends an email or contact message, the message may be retained long enough to review it and respond. We do not share those messages outside our organization unless a valid legal requirement, such as a subpoena or court order, requires disclosure.
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, this site may receive technical information when a page loads or a visitor moves through the site.
- Internet Protocol address.
- Browser name and version.
- Device category and operating system.
- Pages opened and approximate time spent on them.
- Referring website or search engine, when available.
- Date and time stamps tied to site activity.
Cookies
Cookies may be used to understand site traffic and basic visitor behavior. Browser settings can block or delete cookies, although some features or partner tools may not behave the same way when cookies are disabled.
How the Information Is Used
- To keep pages available, stable, and reasonably fast.
- To send search requests to the correct outside search provider.
- To understand which Hempstead County jail and court-resource pages are useful.
- To locate errors, broken links, and other technical issues.
- To display advertising that may be more relevant to visitor interests.
Outside Websites
This site links to sheriff pages, jail rosters, Arkansas corrections resources, federal locators, court portals, and third-party search tools. Once a visitor leaves this site, the privacy policy of the outside site controls that activity.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to recognize activity across websites for interest-based advertising. That tracking is handled through their platforms, not through a Hempstead County Inmate Population records database.
Who May Receive Information
We do not sell personal information as a standalone mailing list or contact list. Information may be available to the parties that help operate or protect the site.
- Search partners that process lookup requests.
- Analytics providers that measure traffic and site performance.
- Advertising networks that place or measure ads.
- Law enforcement, courts, or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it under applicable law, including Arkansas public-records and court-access rules such as Ark. Code Ann. 25-19-105 and Arkansas Supreme Court Administrative Order 19.
Security Practices
Reasonable security practices are used to protect the information handled by this site. No internet-connected service can be guaranteed breach-proof, and we cannot promise that data transmission or storage will always be fully secure.
